An Atlanta man responded to an armed attack on a pregnant pizza delivery driver by telling one of the assailants to “drop the gun or I’ll drop you!”
According to police, the woman was making a delivery to a home when three people approached her from the back of the house.
Atlanta police spokesman Officer Jarius Daugherty said that, according to the victim, one of the males had a handgun and that he began to “strike the victim with the weapon and demanded the keys to her vehicle.”
The woman fled, but the suspects caught up to her and continued their assault. Luckily, Dennis Madaris heard her screams and went outside with his own firearm.
“One of them turned around, and he had the gun in his hand. And I told him, ‘Drop the gun or I’ll drop you!’” Madaris told WSB-TV. “And they threw the gun down, and all three of them took off.”

The male was also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a controlled substance.
Eleven days prior to the attack, another female pizza delivery driver was called to the same area and lured to an abandoned house by a 9-year-old boy. Two men then stole her car at gunpoint. Those suspects are still at large.
