According to, which took a screenshot of the post, when Bitton was criticized for the photos, she responded on Facebook, “Too young for what? To be embracing each other in shorts and tops? Too young to be out at night? Too young to explore? Too young to feel? What are they too young for? What is disgusting?”

After one person slammed Bitton, writing, “Maybe I’m old school, but this is not something that should be posted. When I was 11-12 I was playing in dirt in fields, not kissing my friends and modeling in such a way even adults shouldn’t be.”

Bitton responded, “Times have changed. Can’t pine for elder statesmen.”
