Robert “Beto” O’Rourke is now a confirmed loser — and a bad sport, too, as it turns out.
The upstart candidate for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz’s seat — who pulled in tens of millions of dollars from Hollywood celebrities and outsiders — decided the drop the F bomb in his concession speech on live TV.
“Tonight’s loss does nothing to diminish the way I feel about Texas or this country,” O’Rourke said. “I’m so f**king proud of you guys.”
MSNBC didn’t censor O’Rourke, but an anchor later apologized. “Sorry for the F-bomb,” Brian Williams said. “We have no control of what’s in the concession speeches.”
But it didn’t appear to be a mistake, not in the slightest.

Cruz, for his part, was a gracious winner.
At his victory speech, some in his crowd of supporter booed when he mentioned O’Rourke. But Cruz said “No. He worked tirelessly, he’s a dad, and he took time away from his kids. Millions across this state were inspired by his campaign. They didn’t prevail.”
