WATCH: Acosta Tries To Prove Trump Wrong About Border, Learns Walls Work

CNN’s Jim Acosta traveled to Texas ahead of President Donald Trump’s visit to the border and decided to go to the border to show that the president was wrong about was is happening and ended up showing that border walls work.

“Here are some of the steel slats that the president has been talking about, right here, as you can see, yes you can see through these slats to the other side of the U.S.-Mexico border,” Acosta said. “As we’re walking along here we’re not seeing any kind of imminent danger, there are no migrants trying to rush toward this fence here in the McAllen, Texas area.”

Acosta continued, noting that there was “no sign of the national emergency” that Trump has warned about as he stood next to the wall.

In another video, Acosta showed what he said was an area of the border that shows fencing with barbed wire, writing: “All quiet on this stretch of the border ahead of Trump’s visit to McAllen TX area.”

In a third video, Acosta interviewed a local resident about whether or not the area was safe. The woman confirmed to Acosta that the area, which has border barriers, was safe.

A second local resident again confirmed to Acosta that the border wall protected area was safe.

“Jose has lived here in the McAllen TX area his whole life,” Acosta wrote. “He also tells me it is very safe here.”

Of course it is safe there, there is a wall in place. Try going to an area without a wall.

Did he go to the other areas that have no more than a barb wire fence that we use to keep our cows in? Of course not. Walls do work Pal.

Is the safety in an area guarded by the barrier a coincidence. Yeah, probably.

CNN… a prime source of “Fake News”… Jim Acosta is busy trying to make a big name for himself… he insults the President of the United Sates & his press secretary, Sarah Sanders… then hurries off to play the victim… he does nothing but spew division & hate, continually shows bias & intentional ignorance… being “the king of Fake News” he has zero credibility… he has zero credibility… It’s was way past time for Acosta to be excluded and to have his White House press credentials pulled… these Washington bottom dwellers are desperate… can you imagine the outrage if these kind of things had been said & foisted on Obama when he was president… STAND STRONG… DRAIN THE SWAMP MR. PRESIDENT…

Why don’t they send CNN to the Rio Grande area where there isn’t a wall and show the illegals coming in like Fox did the other night. 2 men from Bangladesh, a high status country for security just walking down the road. Had just crossed the border from Mexico. They had come through Dubai, then Brazil and up through Central America. If they can do it you know any terrorist from the Middle East can to.
